YOGA

I discovered the benefits of yoga in 2002 after my daughter was born.  I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and the pregnancy and care of my daughter really made my joint pain flare up.  I found so much relief for my joints by practicing yoga, but yoga also helped me cope with the stress of being a working mom.  Yoga has such a positive impact in so many ways on your life and the more I practiced with my teacher the more she convinced me that my yoga journey could benefit others if I became a yoga teacher.  In 2009 I received my 200 hour certification through Moksha Yoga School in Chicago.  I strive to learn and improve my own practice as well as my teaching technique through continuing education and various workshops.  I teach at a variety of locations for corporate wellness programs as well as private lessons.  Yoga was the spark that ignited my passion for nutrition.
